Today, I watched this movie for the third time. I still enjoy it as much as I did the first time. Jack is a more happy-go-lucky kind of pirate than a serious one with a hidden agenda. His chemistry with Angelica, Blackbeard's daughter, is amazing. Whether they are fighting, impersonating each other, or flirting with each other, there always seems to be a deeper connection between them beneath the surface. Angelica is first introduced, of course, when Jack discovers her to be his imposter, hiring a crew to set sail for the Fountain of Youth. She convinces Jack to help her get to the Fountain of Youth in exchange for his beloved Black Pearl. Meanwhile, Barbossa, now a Privateer for the King of England, is also sent on a mission to beat the Spaniards to the Fountain of Youth. The Spaniards, of course, had the advantage, considering they had the information first and had set sail first. Barbossa could not care less, knowing his real goal was to take revenge on Blackbeard for taking his leg as well as sending the Black Pearl to the depths. All ends well, for each of the character's agendas, which is expected of a side story from Pirates of the Carribbean.
